Canadian fur design competition

"Fur Re-Invented" is a program of the Fur Council of Canada that aims to encourage fashion design students to integrate fur into their collections and explore de creative potential of this exceptional fashion material.



2013 Participants: Nunavut Arctic College Students

This year, the Fur Council of Canada, in partnership with NAFFEM, was delighted to invite the students of Nunavut Arctic College to participate in the 2013 edition of its FUR RE-INVENTED Canadian Fur Design Competition.

Sealskin is the fur featured in the contest this year and NAFFEM is a unique occasion for Nunavut Arctic College to showcase, to the fur industry at large, the creativity and design skills of its students in creating modern fashionable garments, using this traditional material and Inuit designs and culture as inspiration.
