THE REMIX-CANADA COMPETITION 2015:

First Prize Winner:
Adrian Arnieri - Ryerson University, Toronto

REMIX is the international student design competition organized by the Fur Council of Canada in collaboration with the International Fur Federation and MIFUR, the Milan-based international fur and leather exhibition. The competition aims to encourage, inspire and support young designers around the world as they develop and explore their relationship with fur, as well as give them an opportunity to showcase their innovative designs to an international audience.

Foxy Femme Fatale

The Foxy femme fatale is based on a seductive yet mysterious woman who is all about looking sleek while being functional and warm. This modern looking fur coat has been inspired by up north weather during the fall and winter months. Earth tones such as browns as well as wild furs, Red fox, are used to translate the idea of a warm traditional fur coat.

The prize was given by Alan Herscovici (Executive Vice President, Fur Council of Canada) and Diane Duhamel (Commissaire at Bureau de la mode de la ville de Montreal)
